Are Paid Online Surveys A Scam? |
The first clue that should tell you whether or not the paid survey site is a scam is whether or not they are trying to get money from you. Remember that you are the one who should be getting paid. Several of the paid survey websites that you come across will most likely try to get you to pay for something or another. These websites usually have long sales letters talking about easily making a comfortable income from home and how anyone can do it. Then after your done reading the letter they say that this information only costs "$19.95 for the next hour" or "there are only 10 copies left." they try to do these things to lure you in to purchase their paid survey program before really thinking about it. The truth about paid survey sites is that you should not have to pay to join. These paid survey sites mentioned in the previous paragraph that try to get money from you usually aren't even paid survey sites. These websites are just middle men that try to make a quick buck off you. These paid survey websites just end up giving you a list of paid survey companies that you can sign up with. Why should you pay for it? I'll even give you links to a few paid survey websites for free. These are both tried and true sites that are proven to pay their members.
Another way that paid survey websites may try to scam you, besides taking your money, is by just getting all your personal information and then never giving you any surveys. These paid survey sites may end up spamming your email address with offers and what not. They may even sell your email address. How To Avoid Paid Online Survey ScamsThe easiest and by far simplest way I can think to avoid paid survey scams is to just not pay to take surveys. Also before signing up with any paid survey website you should take a look at their privacy policy. |
